I feel so blessed to have been a part of Heather and David's wedding day. They were such a sweet couple and by far had a good looking bridal party! Heather and David chose the JW Marriott, Denver Cherry Creek location, for their wedding venue. The hotel setting had a very modern feel, which went perfect with the bride and groom's style.
Heather looked stunning in an ivory beaded and laced trumpet gown, by Couture Allure. To complete her look, Heather went with a traditional bird cage hair accessory, gold accented jewelry and Jimmy Choo heels. Her Made of Honor, Ericka, was so sweet and made sure these special pieces were safe and sound. Oh and I can't forget her beautiful cushion cut diamond ring!
While Heather and her bridesmaids got ready, we headed over to the guys room. David and his groomsmen looked dapper in their navy suits. We were able to sneak away to the "boardroom" of the hotel, where the guys hung out and talked whiskey and cigars. David took this moment to catch up with his Best Man, Stu.
There's something so tender when a father sees his daughter for the first time in her wedding gown. Heather's father looked so proud. We all had to try and hold back our tears. Heather's bridesmaids looked on in their navy tulle gowns by Jenny Yoo. The scent of white roses and dendrobium orchids filled the room. And speaking of flowers, David's daughter made the most perfect flower girl!
David waited patiently for his bride at the bottom of the grand stairway in the hotel lobby. Guests looked on with smiles and best wishes to the bride and groom. Heather and David were ready to walk down the aisle or should I say jump the broom.
After the bride and groom's beautiful ceremony, we headed outdoors for their bridal party photos. To our surprise, we got the whole street to ourselves, due to the summer festival. Aren't they a handsome bunch?
Following the grand entrance, spun by DJ Smile, the newly weds didn't hesitate to show off their dance moves, to Nate King Cole's "L-O-V-E". All eyes were on Heather and her father, while they danced to"My Girl", by the Temptations.
Many thanks to my second shooter, Katelyn McMahon, for rocking it out with me on this special day! And I can't forget my husband, Jose Luis Malagon, our wonderful videographer.
