This past July I got the opportunity to second shoot for Breanna McKendrick Photography at Lower Lake Ranch in Pine, CO. The bride and groom, MaryKate and Eric, were such a sweet couple. Their love for one another was undeniable.
My favorite part of the day, which I highly recommend to all bride and grooms, is the first look. This made for a more intimate moment between MaryKate and Eric and helped reduce some pre-ceremony nerves.
While MaryKate and Eric said their wedding vows, it was hard not to notice MaryKate's big blue eyes tearing up. It was definitely a special moment for them. The floral arrangements and rich summer bouquets, by Lehrer's Flowers, were to die for! Pinterest worthy for sure! And I must say, MaryKate and Eric definitely didn't hold back on their first kiss as husband and wife.
After their beautiful ceremony, the bride and groom and their guests were led by the Otone Brass Band to cocktail hour with some fly New Orleans tunes. What a clever idea! MaryKate and Eric's ceremony exit was epic!
Once the guests reached their location MaryKate and Eric settled into a pine forest for some intimate portraits. The trees were breathtaking and made for some gorgeous backdrop.
To top things off the bride and groom had a 1971 Volkswagen Photo Bus waiting right outside the reception. Throughout the evening guests were able to get there photo taken inside the bus with fun props and had prints within seconds to take with them. Elizabeth and Jared, the owners of The Photo Bus DNVR, were so nice. It was definitely a hit!
I will leave you with some shots of the beautiful barn reception. The guests were given cute personalized lip balms and miniature succulent plants as a thank you gift. The newlyweds danced the night away and the rest is history!
