Rosalia and Pietro | Romantic Italian Wedding | St. Pascals Catholic Parish Ceremony | Alta Villa Banquets | Addison, IL
Rosalia and I go way back, before she even met Pietro. We both were studying nursing and were also classical musicians. Rosalia played the flute and I the clarinet. We performed a Christmas duet together for a nursing home. That was truly a magical moment for our friendship. Rosalia was the first person to meet my now husband (when we first started dating). Now we’re both in careers that we love and I get to document her wedding day! It’s beautiful to see how LOVE has shaped our lives.
Let me tell you a bit about Rosalia and Pietro. They met in Cinisi, Sicily in the Summer of 2011. Pietro and his family would travel to Italy every other summer to visit relatives and for time away from their pizzeria in Minonk. Pietro and his cousins overheard girls speaking english and decided to introduce themselves. For 5 long weeks Pietro and Rosalia met up and their relationship grew. They were long distance for 5 years. That should be their lucky number! After a magically romantic summer together Pietro proposed in Sicily. She said yes of course and the rest is history!
Rosalia and Pietro, thank you for entrusting my husband (Luis Malagon Films) and I with such an important day. God bless you both and cheers to many more happy years together!
