Jessica + Josh’s Three-Day French Château Wedding Weekend

A destination wedding in France is about so much more than one beautiful wedding day. For Jessica + Josh, their celebration unfolded over three unforgettable days at Château de Lartigolle in Pessan, France, bringing together their closest family and friends for a wedding weekend filled with incredible food, music, laughter, and memories in the French countryside.


Day One: The Welcome Party

The weekend began with a relaxed welcome party at Château de Lartigolle, giving guests the chance to settle in, reconnect, and enjoy their first evening together in France.


Fresh crêpes, French cheeses, and charcuterie were served as everyone gathered in the château courtyard. With Melody Gardot playing in the background and La Rua Madureira setting the tone for the evening, conversations flowed easily and excitement built for the days ahead.


It was the perfect introduction to Jessica + Josh’s French château wedding: an intimate evening surrounded by the people they love most, good food, beautiful music, and the unmistakable charm of the French countryside.


Day Two: The Wedding at Château de Lartigolle

The second day was the heart of the celebration: Jessica + Josh’s wedding day.

Beneath the historic stone walls of Château de Lartigolle, surrounded by their closest family and friends, they exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony bathed in the warm afternoon sun.


Following the ceremony, guests gathered on the château terrace for heartfelt toasts, laughter, and endless embraces. As the sun set over the French countryside, saxophonist Amber Jordan filled the evening with music, creating an unforgettable atmosphere beneath the stars.


With the moon rising overhead and celebrations continuing late into the night, their wedding day was every bit as romantic and memorable as a French countryside wedding should be.


Day Three: A Farewell Pool Party and French BBQ

After two incredible days of celebrating, the weekend came to a wonderfully relaxed close with a farewell pool party and French BBQ.


Guests traded formal wedding attire for swimsuits and spent the final day soaking up the sunshine, enjoying delicious food, and making the most of their last hours together at the château.


The laid-back poolside celebration was the perfect way to end a destination wedding weekend, filled with laughter, lingering conversations, and one final afternoon together before everyone headed home.

From the welcome party to the wedding day and the final farewell BBQ, Jessica + Josh’s celebration was a beautiful example of what makes a destination wedding in France so special.
